Canada’s fastest growing active wear label, VATA Brasil™ , today was invited to showcase their Spring 2010 Collection at the 21st edition of LG Fashion Week, October 19th-24th in Toronto. It is the fashion event of the season in North America and is ranked with The Toronto Film Festival or Fashion Week in São Paulo, Brasil.
The LG Fashion Week Jury responded very positively to VATA Brasil’s submission said Ms. Brooklyn Brownstone, Designer Coordinator, Fashion Design Council of Canada. The jury members included Robin Kay, the President of The Fashion Design Council of Canada and Joseph Mimram, Chair of the Council. The Jury noted, “VATA Brasil™ has great colours and colour combinations, great design, and we are all looking forward to a show full of energy and excitement.”

VATA Brasil was founded by Brasilian competitive free divers Mario Gomes and Ananda Escudero Gomes. Head Office in Vancouver and manufactured in Rio de Janeiro, Part owner, retail and marketing veteran Daniel Langevin is developing retail and wholesale markets across North America, Mexico, Europe, the Middle East, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, India and Australia.
