Mario Gomes, Chief Executive Officer for VATA Brasil, Canada's hottest active wear label, is pleased to announce three new appointees to the company's Advisory Board.
* Dr. William A. "Bill" Ingledew, Chief Executive Officer and part owner of Ingledews Ltd, leads one of Canada's most respected leading footwear retailers.
* George W. Lutfy, businessman and entrepreneur, has more than 50 years of fashion industry experience as past President and owner of manufacturer "VanEssa Lingerie" and "Lillianne" intimate apparel retail stores.
* Randolph J. "Randy" Harris, President and owner of Trendex, North America's largest marketing and research firm specializing Canadian and Mexican apparel markets.
"I believe these appointees are tremendous additions to our Advisory Board. They each have a wealth of fashion industry experience with hands-on expertise in the markets we're pursuing," said Gomes, who also sits on the Board along with VATA Brasil Chief Operating Officer Daniel Langevin and Chief Information Officer Ivo Georgiev.
The Advisory Board was created to provide guidance on the development and marketing of VATA Brasil's unique line of Brasilian inspired active wear designed " for athletes by athletes ". Designed in Vancouver by a Brasilian designer and athlete and manufactured in Rio de Janeiro, VATA Brasil combines comfortable, long-lasting fabric (VATA OneFit) with bold colours and sexy, cutting edge design.
VATA Brasil operates retail locations on Richards Street in Vancouver and at Park Royal in North Vancouver. Goals include developing retail and wholesale markets across North America, Mexico, Europe, the Middle East, India and Australia.
